The Civil War Re-enactors are holding a Living History event on Saturday 23 April in the Llanthony Grounds, prior to a parade through Gloucester on the Sunday morning. Attached is a copy of their itinerary.
The event takes place between 11 and 3 pm and there will also be a chance to catch up with Llanthony plans now that they have received Heritage Lottery Funds.
They are hoping to have a special canon and musket firing volley at 2.30 pm to celebrate the HLF success.
If anyone if available to help with this event, please let Liz Griffiths (details below) know. They need volunteers who can help set up – gazebo and exhibition, be around to help with visitors; possibly do some short history tours of the site, and act as ambassadors on the Trust's behalf.
Or just go along and enjoy the event.
