School of History, Archaeology and Religion, John Percival Building, University of
Cardiff

 

The 34th annual SCPR conference will be held this
year at the School of History, Archaeology and Religion, John Percival
Building, University of Cardiff, Colum Drive, Cardiff CF10 3EG. Setting up time
for our conference will be from 09:00 on the Saturday and the theme of the
morning talks will be pipes from Wales and the afternoon will consider wider
areas and themes. This will be complemented by displays. In the evening there
will be a three courses Conference Dinner (optional) at a local restaurant (£20
per person).

 

There will be a small charge to cover the cost of
the meeting (£18 per person, including tea and coffee and a buffet lunch). On
Sunday there will be a visit and guided tour of the China works at Nantgarw and
a chance to view a reconstructed pipe kiln (£12 per person which includes
morning tea/coffee and a cold buffet lunch). Non-members of the Society will be
very welcome to attend on either day but are asked to contact the conference
organiser in advance to book a place.
