The Forest at War


​The Society's new book, The Forest at War, was launched at our April meeting and our publications officer, Sue Gordon-Smith, has been busy distributing copies across retail outlets locally.

A gift copy has also been sent to each school in the FoD district, courtesy of Mid Counties Co-op, and will also be given to our local libraries. 
Copies are available through the Society's e-shop here.  Check it out – orders are coming in fast!
And they will also be on sale at the GLHA Day in Churchdown tomorrow, Saturday 29th April

Next Historical Association Gloucestershire Talk

The final talk in

​the

 current programme will take place at 7.30pm on April 16 at the Park Campus of the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham when  Dr Erin Peters, lecturer in Early Modern History at the University, will present 'Royalist print culture and Civil War memories after the Restoration'.
